Concise Plan - 2025

Alright, so here is the concise plan: Plant trees. Build an orchard.

That's it. Nothing fancy about it. This year in 2025 we plant trees. The livestock can wait.

Now, to expand a bit: Plant trees indigenous to New York State. There will be exceptions, naturally.

Of course, some further specifications are in order.

Plant a variety of trees indigenous to New York State. Hardwoods. Softwoods. Produce - nut and fruit. Furniture. Firewood.

There. Now that, THAT is it.

Anyone can plant a tree, not everyone can plant a forest. Mind you, this is a metaphorical forest. You'd love to be involved in something cool and fun, something meaningful and beautiful.

With that said, please use the following button to contribute to the Tusky Farms Tree Fund. And yes, you can change the amount. If all you can do is $50 or $100, then that is perfectly understandable.

Funds Usage:

We'll use the funds towards labor, equipment, and inventory.

To name a few things we'll be doing: we'll be clearing brush, mowing fields, digging holes, planting grasses & shrubs & trees, and installing fence and deer/rodent guards.

We would prefer to purchase equipment outright, but that is a preference and not an absolute must-have.
